Knock Cottage is a lovingly restored 19^th Century traditional stone cottage, located between the idyllic hills and babbling River Ba.

Tastefully renovated and refurbished, Knock Cottage retains many original features while offering modern comforts and style. The spacious country kitchen, with its woodland views, duck-egg green décor and hard wood flooring, has a fresh, modern feel. A large fridge freezer, oven, microwave, and extensive crockery and utensil collection will make you feel at home. The open plan kitchen adjoins a bright living and dining room with a cosy wood burning stove, oil fired central heating, and rainy day essentials – TV and a DVD player. Snuggle down in the king-size bed with its crisp, white cotton bed linen. The en-suite shower room is kitted out with soft towelling robes and bath towels – a welcome touch of luxury. Following a day of exploration, kick off your muddy boots and outdoor clothes in the large boot room, which leads out to a private garden area with picnic bench perfect for alfresco dining on summer evenings.

How do I book a cottage?

You can check availability and book directly through our website. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with full details of yourstay, arrival information and payment summary.

When is payment due?

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless we have agreed otherwise with you directly

Can I book for just a few nights?

Our cottages are let on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday. Please contact us directly if you have a specific requirement and we’ll do our best to help.

What time can I check in?

Cottages are available from 4pm on the day of arrival.

What time do I need to check out?

Please vacate your cottage by 10am on your day of departure.

Are pets welcome?

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement in Drive Cottage and at Old School House. Please contact us before booking to confirm availability and arrange this. Pets are not permitted in other cottages.

Are the cottages suitable for families?

Yes! Bridge cottage and Riverside cottages are well suited to family holidays and can sleep up six guests.
