Benmore Lodge

Sitting on the side of Loch Ba, Benmore Lodge is a place of quiet beauty and timeless character: a Victorian home sympathetically reimagined with colour and warmth.

Intimate and unlike any other Highland retreat, Benmore Lodge welcomes family holidays, special occasions and private gatherings with equal ease. Stays begin from three nights, with daily housekeeping included throughout. Beyond that, the experience is entirely yours to shape: add a private chef, a dedicated fishing guide, a morning sea fishing trip or a day’s stalking on the hill. Whatever your idea of the perfect escape, we are here to help you build it.

Bedrooms &
Bathrooms

This impressive home has 4 bedrooms, each with their own style and private bathrooms, enabling an occupancy for up to 8 guests. There is an additional bedroom and ensuite at the rear of the property ideally suited for a cook or nanny.

Each bedroom is named after fishing rivers on and nearby to Benmore Lodge and the Estate.

Relaxing & Dining

Benmore Lodge has several living areas thoughtfully arranged for groups to enjoy together. The sitting room features a wood burning stove and TV, with views across the lawns to Loch Ba, while the larger drawing room makes a wonderful setting for pre-dinner drinks.

At the heart of the house, the well-equipped family kitchen centres around a bespoke picture window, with an informal dining table and breakfast bar. In the evening, the dining room, complete with its own wood burning stove, comfortably seats a party of ten.

Garden &
Drying Room

The fenced garden is equipped with picnic tables and benches for outdoor eating in the most captivating landscape.

The drying room in the adjacent garage offers a dedicated space to quickly and efficiently dry clothing and footwear, fishing equipment or store bikes throughout your stay.

Island Experiences

The central location of Benmore Lodge lends itself to some of the best Island experiences including: hiking, paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, stalking, visiting Iona and discovering Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, whisky tours in Tobermory, Ardnamuchan and Drimnin Distilleries and exploring the sweeping bays, white sandy beaches, dramatic sea cliffs and amazing wildlife around the 300 miles of Mull’s spectacular coastline.

“We adore this place! A wonderful few days.”
