Basking Shark Scotland
Join our marine biologists for a wildlife and adventure tour around the Inner Hebrides. Our 12m cabin RIB provides safety and comfort, combined with speed, gives the ability to visit a range of destinations. Our range of tours includes guided tours to the puffins of the Treshnish Isles, Fingals Cave on Staffa, snorkelling, kayaking & SUP, whale & dolphin cruises. Along with unforgettable experiences with our largest fish, the basking shark. Private charters available for groups up to 12.
Duart Castle
For over 700 years, Duart Castle, the seat of Clan Maclean, has dominated the view to the Sound of Mull and Loch Linnhe with its huge curtain walls and solid keep. Tour the Castle to learn more about the Clan. Explore the grounds and enjoy a visit to our tearoom and giftshop.

Mull Pony Trekking
A fantastic way to experience the beauty of Mull by highland pony. Based at Killiechronan in the centre of the island our treks take you along the shores of Loch na Keal and up into the hills with spectacular views of Ben More and the islands including Iona, Eorsa and Staffa. We regularly have close encounters with wildlife including our resident pair of White tailed eagles, and otters who make Loch na Keal their home. We cater for all ages and abilities.
Walk Mull
Walk Mull provides guided walks, navigation training and wild camping on the Isle of Mull. Our walks range from a stroll along the coast looking for otters to exciting scrambles on an exposed ridge to really get that mountaineering feeling. Our Guides are outdoor first aid qualified and all walks are lead by a fully insured and accredited Mountain Leader.
Whitetail Gin
A family owned island gin distillery with a quaint eatery attached. Nesting close by to our Tiroran Estate, these legendary birds are the inspiration behind our family-owned Whitetail brand. Just like its namesake, Whitetail Gin is superior in strength and power. It’s also subtle and smooth – as gentle on the palate as a feather drifting down from the sky.
The Coffee Pot
A warm welcome awaits at The Coffee Pot, being centrally located in Salen helps make us the perfect place to stop off whilst exploring the island. We offer a wide range of homemade cakes, soup and savouries as well as a daily specials board using local produce where possible to support other local business across the island. You’ll be greeted with a smile and friendly welcome from Laura and The Coffee Pot team.
