Knock House

Knock House presents all the elegance and comfort of the classic country home, at the heart of beautiful Benmore Estate.

Nestled at the foot of Ben Bheag, the head of Loch na Keal and overlooking the River Ba, this grand 18th Centuary property enjoys some of the most stunning natural attractions of the Isle of Mull.

Accommodation

Knock House presents a self-catering holiday destination like no other.  With extensive guest rooms and bathrooms, including additional staff accommodation where required, Knock House is an idyllic destination for a wonderful getaway with family, friends and large parties.

From the large traditional dining hall to the original billiards room, the extensive gardens and tennis courts to the sprung-floor in the ceilidh hall, the best of times can be arranged at Knock House.

Following extensive renovations in recent years, extending the property to offer 12 guest bedrooms and 8 bath or shower rooms, up to 24 guests can be comfortably accommodated in Knock House.  Individually decorated and named after local Islands, each bedroom offers its guest unique accommodation for the duration of their stay.

In addition to the large living room, drawing room and sitting room, the recently created ceilidh dance hall with sprung floor and outside patio has limitless potential for wonderful parties, corporate events or an intimate wedding reception.

The dining room seats up to 20, ideal for stylish dinners whether to create special family memories or impress a corporate party.  Games and a little friendly competition are bound to form part of your holiday memories, with a billiard room with a three-quarter size snooker table, table tennis and table football.

The family kitchen benefits from a welcoming four door Aga, as well as electric cooker, microwave, plate warmer, dishwashers, fridges and freezers and extensive utensils.

Additionally there is a large boot room perfect for those fishing rods, gun room, a drying/boiler room and wi-fi.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs are welcome in certain ground floor areas of the house and there is kennel accommodation for 4 dogs outside.

Without exception every single person had the most memorable time and all want to return. The staff are fabulous and so professional. Thank you so much
